What will the apprentice be doing on site

Enable Futures, a multi-award-winning Apprenticeship Employer, are partnering with GRK Civils, a family-run company who specialise in Groundworks and Civil Engineering, to employ an Apprentice Site Engineer. This role would be particularly ideal for a Groundworker looking to make the step up into Site Engineering.

Relevant information about the project

• Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site
• Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
• Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
• Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
• Overseeing quality control
• Monitoring health and safety
• Keeping a site diary
• Resolving technical problems

Qualifications Required

4 GCSE's Grade 4-9 including Maths, English and Science

Relevant information about the site

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Qualification which will take 24 months (plus End Point Assessment) and will be delivered by Leeds College of Building on a Day Release basis.

40 Hours Per Week
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (Although hours could increased on demand)
£319 Per Week (This is made up of the National Apprenticeship Wage plus £17 travel allowance)
