EN:Able Futures, an award-winning apprenticeship employer, are looking to recruit an Apprentice Site/Setting Out Engineer,
to work for their partner GRK Civils. This role would be ideal for a Groundworker looking to make the step up to site
engineering.

• Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site
• Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
• Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
• Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
• Overseeing quality control
• Monitoring health and safety
• Keeping a site diary
• Resolving technical problems

Qualifications Required

5 GCSE's grade 5-9 including Maths, English and Science

Relevant information about the site

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Qualification, which will take 24 months (plus 6 month End Point Assessment) and will be delivered via New College Durham.

40 Hours Per Week.
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
£319 Per Week (This is made up of the National Apprenticeship Wage plus £17 travel allowance)

Please note this role will be split at various sites around the North East therefore a full driving license and
access to a vehicle is required.
