What will the apprentice be doing on site
EN:Able Futures, an award winning apprenticeship employer have partnered with The Civil & Structural Engineering Team of Alan Wood & Partners in Stockton who are currently recruiting an Apprentice to support the daily needs of projects within the team.
We are looking for an individual with some prior learning and experience, whether this be from a prior apprenticeship, T-Level or College course. We are also looking for an individual with strong Maths skills, ideally with a strong Maths GCSE and A Level.

Day to Day Activities
-Producing CAD drawings
-Preparing simple calculations
-Supporting the administration of projects
-Ensuring outputs meet the required standards
-Meeting agreed deadlines
-Maintaining drawing register
-Working as a member of a team
-Contributing to providing solutions to problems
-Working both in an office environment and on site -visits
Essential qualities
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to think logically and have a keen interest in Construction & Civil Engineering, and be able to evidence this through their application, prior learning and interview.
Qualifications Required
4 GCSEs grade C or level 4 and above, plus 1 A Level, or 2AS Levels (40 points)
BTEC National in a relevant construction/engineering qualification
T-Level or an equivalent qualification
Candidate will work towards Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician Standard at New College Durham.
The duration is 36 months plus end point assessment.

Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week).
National Minimum Wage £7.55-£12.21 per hour
