What will the apprentice be doing on site
EN:Able Futures are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Administrator to work for Aspect Contracts experiencing administration functions within Operations/Contracting and Sales/Marketing, sampling the different areas within the business enabling the individual to gain a feel for where their skill set lies and see what they enjoy and would like to build a career in.
Aspect Contracts started as a family run business in 1986, developing into one of the few truly market leading national asbestos abatement service providers whilst always maintaining the fundamental core values which underpin the business.
Please note: this role is based within a commercial office environment which has no contact with asbestos.
Relevant information about the project
As an Apprentice Administrator you will enhance your skills and knowledge in operational and admin functionalities within the a commercial construction office environment:-
The apprentice will be involved with looking at and helping prepare tender bids and information for clients, ensuring that all the correct information is sent through to hit deadlines and looking at how design and marketing can influence bids and work proposals working alongside the Bid Team.
They will assist with building a social media presence, filming and photographing projects and stories of interest to build the company’s reputation and help promote safe practice when working with asbestos.
They will be shown what paperwork is required to successfully run a project and become involved in each area of how Works are put together and assist the Contracts Managers and Administrators with site files.
They will learn how each department interprets site plans and information and liaise with those involved in contract work
The successful person will be given every bit of help and assistance at every step to ensure they fully understand what is needed and why attention to detail is critical in what we do.
What sort of candidate are you looking for
• Have an interest in learning about Construction Projects
• Have a good attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Have effective communication skills both verbal and written
• Be able to work under pressure when deadlines need to be met
• Have a basic understanding of Microsoft packages inc. Word, Excel & Outlook
Qualifications Required
GCSE grade D/3 or equivalent in Maths & English
Qualification working towards
L3 Business Administration (Duration 18-21 Months)
