What will the apprentice be doing on site

EN:Able Futures, a multi-award winning Apprenticeship employer, are delighted to partner with Alan Wood and Partners to look for an Apprentice Civil Engineering Technician in the Huntington area of York. This role will suit somebody who is interested in becoming a Civil Engineer, as well as somebody who is keen to use CAD.

• Producing CAD drawings
• Preparing simple calculations
• Supporting the administration of projects
• Ensuring outputs meet the required standards
• Meeting agreed deadlines
• Maintaining drawing register
• Working as a member of a team
• Contributing to providing solutions to problems
• Working both in an office environment and on site visits

Qualifications Required

• 4 GCSE's Grade 5-9 including English and Science
• GCSE Grade 6-9 in Maths

Relevant information about the site

The successful applicant will work towards a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Qualification, which will take 24 months (plus End Point Assessment) and will be delivered through Leeds College of Building on a day release basis.

Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
£300 Per Week (This is made up of the National Apprenticeship Wage plus £17 travel allowance)
