What will the apprentice be doing on site
EN:Able Futures, an Award-Winning Apprenticeship Employer, have partnered with Termrim Construction, to offer a fantastic opportunity to someone interested in becoming a Multi Trade Apprentice based on New Build sites. The role, that is also known as 'Snagging', will require the successful candidate to be interested in all aspects of construction, and would suit someone who has a keen interest in DIY, to ensure that the New Build house is in perfect condition for new home owners.

As a Multi Skilled Apprentice,(Snagging) you will learn a variety of skills in relation to:
• Carpentry and Joinery
• Painting and Decorating
• Tiling
• Plastering
• Basic Plumbing
• Brickwork
• Pre-plaster works
• Mastic works
• Foam gun application
• Protection of works
During your apprenticeship you will be required to learn and undertake the following:
• Create a safe working environment
• Access and utilise appropriate work plans, job sheets, specifications and drawings/diagrams
• Select, check, use and maintain tools, equipment and materials
• Safely isolate electrical, electronic and emergency systems to enable property maintenance operations to be performed around isolated electrical components, and the reporting of faults as required
• Perform fault diagnostics to implement a range of minor reactive or responsive plumbing and drainage repairs to a satisfactory conclusion
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, minor repairs and replacement of components within water, environmental and energy management systems
• Use carpentry and joinery skills to complete minor repairs or refurbishment to fixtures within and around properties such as doors, window frames and worktops
• Carry out minor plastering repairs using appropriate materials and surface finishing techniques
• Carry out remedial painting and decorating works to a range of surfaces
• Carry out minor tiling and flooring activities or repairs

• A driving license and access to a vehicle, or similar such as CBT and access to a Moped (This is because there may be travel between sites in Leeds)
Qualifications Required
4 GCSE's Grade 3-9 including Maths and English
Relevant information about the site
The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Qualification, and it will be delivered by Calderdale College on a Day Release basis and will take 18 months plus EPA (End Point Assessment)
39 Hours Per Week.
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (With a 15:30 finish on a Friday)
£266.60 Per Week (This is made up of the National Apprenticeship Wage plus £17 travel allowance)
